Fluid Dynamics Expert

We are seeking a skilled Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) specialist to contribute to our technical safety consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with project management and other team members to deliver complex technical projects.
- Engage with customers to identify challenges and discuss project schedules and delivery.
- Support multiple customers, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders in upstream, midstream, and downstream segments.
- Engineering degree (Chemical or Mechanical preferred) with at least 4 years of experience.
- Master's degree in Safety Engineering or related field is desirable.
- Experience in advanced CFD modeling for quantitative risk analysis, including fire and explosion analysis, gas detectors allocation, flame detection allocation, exhaust and vent dispersion, smoke and gas dispersion, flare radiation analysis, and helideck turbulence analysis.
- Proficiency in CFD tools such as FLACS and KFX is highly desirable.
- Experience with Ansys Fluent or CFX is also beneficial.
- Familiarity with Process Safety (PSM) and qualitative risk analysis methods, including HAZOP and HAZID.
- Knowledge of Brazilian regulations, including Petrobras Safety Guidelines, ANP, and NRs, is required.
- Experience in upstream, downstream, and midstream sectors.
- Proficiency in programming languages, including VBA, Python, and digitalization mindset is desirable.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, with Spanish being considered an asset.
