The Problems You'll Solve
As a senior software engineer on our Developer Experience team, you'll work to simplify the software development lifecycle for our internal developers. You'll focus on:
- Building impactful solutions across multiple codebases while maintaining consistency and efficiency.
- Introducing standardized processes and supported workflows to reduce complexity and friction in development.
- Proactively removing customer toil ahead of it becoming a blocker for developers.
Your Responsibilities
You'll:
- Architect, design, and code highly available, secure, and scalable managed solutions like PaaS and IaaS.
- Drive the implementation of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automating build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate software delivery.
- Direct developers on how to leverage monitoring, alerting, and logging of the Platform to improve observability.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the developer experience by gathering feedback, measuring key metrics, and iterating on solutions to address emerging needs and challenges.
- Mentor and grow junior software engineers.
About You
We're looking for a skilled software engineer with 4+ years of experience in the industry. You'll have a strong background in engineering practices, customer-centricity, and experience developing backend services. You'll also have experience leading, growing, and mentoring other engineers.
