Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at the ExxonMobil Business Support Center Brasil Ltda. in Curitiba. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient, enterprise-wide, integrated accounting and reporting processes to maximize Corporate outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Reflect business transactions in financial records
  2. Produce accurate and timely financial statements
  3. Deliver financial analysis support for the business
  4. Ensure accuracy of financial reporting for ExxonMobil businesses
  5. Perform account reconciliations
  6. Reconcile inventory balances
  7. Maintain proper asset balances and disposition
  8. Ensure proper bank accounting
  9. Manage large number of intercompany charges
  10. Ensure appropriate cost flow set up and recovery
  11. Review and process incoming and outgoing Joint Interest Billings from/to Joint Venture Partners
  12. Deliver financial accounting support to the business
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Advanced English - high level of interfacing with internal/external customers
  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Tools (e.g. Word, Excel, Access)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines and priorities
  • Process orientation and understanding of work activities
