About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Coordinator and Operations Team by managing requisitions for goods and services. This involves placing and monitoring purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and quality. The candidate will also be responsible for ongoing communication with brokers and vendors, as well as maintaining updated systems regarding prices and vendor data.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage requisitions for goods and services to support the Supply Chain Coordinator and Operations Team.
  2. Place and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and quality.
  3. Maintain updated systems regarding prices and vendor data.
  4. Communicate with brokers and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business, Logistics, International Business, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, supplier development, and international logistics within multinational companies is essential. Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written, are required for effective collaboration with brokers and vendors. The candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Experience in implementing process improvements and knowledge of purchasing strategies for strategic sourcing will be beneficial.
