Microbiologist Assistant

About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Microbiologist Assistant to join our team at Straumann Group. As a Microbiologist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our laboratory operations and ensuring the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Control and manage laboratory inventory
• Assist microbiologists in laboratory testing and analysis
• Prepare culture media and perform related tasks
• Develop and maintain laboratory documentation and procedures
• Perform administrative tasks and data entry
• Launder and disinfect laboratory equipment and supplies
• Collect and process samples for microbiological analysis
• Record and maintain laboratory environmental conditions
• Organize and store laboratory records and reports
• Assist in microbiological and chemical testing

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pursuing a degree in Quality, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or related field
• Desirable experience in microbiology or chemistry laboratory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Desirable knowledge of SAP
• Availability to work 100% on-site in the CIC region
