Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned editor and writer specializing in business, finance, or real estate to develop, strategize, and produce a B2B newsletter for a prominent commercial real estate firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the company's objectives in acquisition, financing, leasing, and expansion.
- Establish the tone, content, and direction for the newsletter, aiming to become a trusted source of industry knowledge and insights.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop an editorial calendar that reflects the communication strategy.
- Write original content or source writers for various articles; ensure all material maintains a cohesive voice and message.
- Oversee designers to create necessary visual elements for the newsletter.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written, as all communications will be conducted in this language.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in business, finance, or real estate writing, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts and market trends into engaging written content.
- At least 5 years of editorial experience in long-form writing formats such as blogs, magazines, or newsletters.
- A bachelor's degree in business, journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
