WASH Coordinator

International Medical Corps is seeking a highly skilled WASH Coordinator to join our team in supporting emergency response efforts. As a key member of our WASH team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing water and sanitation systems in IDP, refugee, and migrant contexts.

• Design and implement water and sanitation systems in emergency settings, ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality health care delivery.
• Oversee the selection of appropriate technologies and design for safe and functional WASH systems, including source selection, abstraction, storage, treatment, and distribution.
• Develop and implement hygiene promotion programs suitable for local contexts, in collaboration with other actors.
• Manage emergency WASH interventions in coordination with IMC core sectors and other agencies, ensuring gender and protection considerations.
• Represent International Medical Corps to governmental, non-governmental groups, and WASH Cluster as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in water and sanitation engineering, civil engineering, or relevant technical WASH specialization.
• 8+ years of relevant progressive experience, with at least 5 years of work experience in designing and implementing water and sanitation systems in emergency settings.
• Experience in emergency and early recovery phases, including assessments and the design and delivery of effective water supply and hygiene promotion interventions.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required; fluency in Spanish, French, or Arabic is desirable.
