DP Instructor

Kongsberg Maritime, a leading global marine technology company, is seeking a highly skilled DP Instructor to join our team. As a DP Instructor, you will play a critical role in preparing, developing, and implementing training courses for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality training courses, following internal processes and accreditation standards.
• Review and analyze course completion data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement special training courses.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in marine technology and training methodologies.
• Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment, adhering to Kongsberg Maritime's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
• Represent Kongsberg Maritime at customer training sessions, meetings, and external events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a Maritime Academy, preferably with a Ch-mate (or higher) Certificate.
• Minimum 150 DP days of experience on a DP vessel, documented in a NI or IMCA logbook.
• Valid Deck Officer Certificate and DP NI Certificate.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to a broad audience.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese, with the ability to travel as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
