About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our Prevenção à Fraude Department Operations team in Brazil - área de São Paulo.

The team is responsible for analyzing and monitoring operational KPIs across the region, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to optimize payment approvals and prevent chargebacks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce fraud risk;
  • Collaborate with regional developers to design and implement data models for the Brazilian market;
  • Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and develop recommendations to improve operational performance;
  • Communicate complex data insights to stakeholders, including senior management, and provide recommendations for process improvements;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and fraud prevention.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science;
  • Intermediate English proficiency;
  • Advanced level of SQL and proficiency in Python programming language;
  • Previous experience in analytical roles, preferably in fraud prevention or a related field;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
