Maintenance Engineer Trainee

In this role, you will be part of our maintenance team, working closely with engineers and other specialists to identify areas for improvement. Your goal will be to assist in the development of projects and initiatives that enhance our processes and systems.

• You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience and knowledge of our maintenance procedures;
• Analyze faulty locomotive components to identify causes and opportunities for improvement;
• Assist in the creation of reports and control maintenance schedules to ensure efficiency and effectiveness;
• Contribute to the development of new projects and improvements within the maintenance department;
• Collaborate with engineering, reliability, and process teams to share information and find solutions to maintenance and reliability issues;
• Follow internal procedures and guidelines, attending training sessions as required;
• Be responsible for the proper use, maintenance, and optimization of company assets, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with expected graduation by 2027;
• Familiarity with programming languages;
