Job Summary

As a Senior Developer in the SAP Datasphere Integration Services – Connectivity team, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and ensuring the quality of deliverables. This role requires a strong focus on collaboration, attention to detail, and reliability. You will work closely with your team members to ensure success and interact with global development teams from other components to support architecture and ensure that state-of-the-art architecture guidelines and product standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, code, test, and guarantee the quality of deliverables.
  2. Assess and solve issues in new or existing code with high attention to detail, reliability, and efficiency.
  3. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure success.
  4. Work with the connectivity framework's scrum team, interact with global development teams from other components, and interact with the central architects of the SAP Datasphere product team to support architecture and ensure that state-of-the-art architecture guidelines and product standards are followed.
  5. Work on cloud-native development for microservices architectures.
  6. Engage in development activities in Java, Golang, and others.
  7. Mentor and guide junior developers to foster their professional development and growth.
  8. Actively participate in customer support and drive incident resolution with development support.
  9. Support product owners, managers, and architects in technical discussions.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields.
  2. Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  3. Excellent programming skills and knowledge of algorithms, data structures, space, and run-time complexity.
  4. Strong knowledge of modern software architecture principles and design patterns, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Proficient in multiple programming languages such as Go, Java, and others.
  6. Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and microservices.
  7. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps methodologies and CI/CD.
  8. Willingness to take ownership, drive new developments, and work creatively on challenging and groundbreaking tasks by the highest technical standards, plus a high level of commitment, team spirit, flexibility, and initiative.
  9. Knowledge of software quality assurance and test methodologies, including unit and integration testing.
