Senior Financial Analyst – Manufacturing Operations

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our global enterprise's financial operations.

About the Role

This position is responsible for performing various accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control our organization's financial resources.

  • Complete quarterly and year-end compliance obligations including SOX controls related to entity-level and manufacturing controlling areas timely and effectively.
  • Participate in resolving auditor questions and assist in executing remediation activities should there be any process or design breakdown.
  • Support company involvement in matter resolution and audit inquiries with internal and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Compliance
  • Deliver high-quality, accurate and timely financial information in accordance with internal policy and external regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in compliance projects relevant to policy responsibilities.
Regional Controlling
  • Analyze stock movements, costs and pricing requests to ensure accurate and current inventory valuation.
  • Calculate manufacturing costs through monthly closings, ensuring accounting accuracy and tax compliance.
  • Analyze cost trends to identify unusual variances and recommend corrective actions.
Regional Business Partnering, Team Leadership and Development
  • Collaborate with an action-biased, solution-oriented mindset when faced with challenges by business partners.
  • Ensure analyses conducted by junior cost accountant colleagues adhere to defined standards and are delivered within established timelines.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA (or local equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in financial and/or reporting roles
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong capability and proven ability in driving process enhancements, optimizations, and continuous improvements.
  • Extensive experience in cost accounting and cost analysis for operations in one or more LATAM manufacturing units.
  • Ability to communicate to a variety of stakeholders.
