Lead Java Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Java Developer to drive the design and development of scalable, high-performance solutions.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing software features aligned with business requirements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather insights and deliver tailored solutions
  • Writing and maintaining unit tests to uphold software quality and ensure functionality
  • Conducting code reviews to maintain best practices and coding standards
  • Diagnosing and addressing technical challenges effectively and in a timely manner

Required skills and qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in software development
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience leading and managing development teams
  • Strong proficiency in Java, including Core, Collections, StreamAPI, and Concurrency
  • Experience working with JDK17+ and build tools like Maven or Gradle
  • Practical experience with Apache Beam and Dataflow, including implementing Beam transforms (DoFn, ParDo, GroupByKey) and deploying/monitoring Dataflow jobs
  • Familiarity with GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, IAM roles, and security best practices
  • Experience writing unit tests using JUnit and reviewing code for quality assurance
  • Fluent Portuguese communication skills
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a B1 level or higher

Bonus points for experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, understanding of data formats such as AVRO or Parquet, experience working with XML and XSD, and familiarity with Equifax GBP systems and related workflows.
