Job Opportunity

Campinas is a significant industrial and economic hub in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.

  • We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Specialist to contribute to our team at Dextra.
  • The ideal candidate will possess expertise with Java, Python, or JavaScript and be proficient in crafting and triaging automated software tests.
  • They should also have excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, test methodologies, and tools, as well as a passion for quality processes.

The selected candidate will design and implement software solutions, working closely with teams in the USA and Brazil.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Enhancing processes and test methodologies
  • Defining test strategies and test plans
  • Creating new test cases (manual and automated) to verify/validate enhancements and fixes
  • Analysis of functional and non-functional requirements
  • Performing regression tests and analyzing their results
  • Identifying and documenting defects

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Experience writing and triaging automated software tests (e.g., unit tests, regression tests, functional tests, stress tests)
  • Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, test methodologies, and tools
  • Passion for quality processes
