Job Summary:
As a Senior Accounting Analyst at Jabil Circuit, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing general accounting systems. Your responsibility will be to maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions. You will analyze and interpret accounting records to provide valuable insights and prepare statements. Additionally, you will balance accounts periodically and create profit and loss, income, and balance sheet statements. Furthermore, you will interpret reports and records for managers, ensuring they have the necessary information to make informed decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries and financial statements for monthly and year-end closing.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
  • Detail assets, liabilities, and capital, in preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.
  • Prepare and distribute inter-company billing, transfers, and charges on a monthly basis.
  • Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers and prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
  • Reconcile inter-company accounts receivable and accounts payable balances.
  • Develop and recommend control systems to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Respond to questions from managers and interpret reports to managers.

Job Qualifications:
  • Tasks-oriented with the ability to adjust multiple priorities in a short period of time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with other team members, visitors, and customers, at all times, in an effective, pleasant, courteous, and tactful manner.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
