Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join our Experience group. As a key member of our team, you will partner with product and design to create innovative tools for analytics engineers. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop a tailor-made clients IDE, CLI, and Low Code No Code (LCNC) platform that is deeply integrated with our dbt ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using Python or Go.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to define and instrument important usage metrics and KPIs for our cloud-based clients.
  • Enable teammates to build confidently and quickly via high-leverage tooling, mentorship, and your experience and knowledge of industry trends and practices.
  • Define quality standards and drive the overall reliability of our services.
  • Support the career development of team members by providing mentorship and coaching on design patterns, backend architecture, and technical decision-making.
Requirements
  • 5-8+ years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree in a related field (computer science, computer engineering, etc.) or completed enrollment in an engineering-related bootcamp.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Kubernetes and AWS for runtime scaling.
  • Experience working closely with product and design teams.
  • Experience with Python or Go to create scalable full-stack applications.
