Job Description:

Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems to the global enterprise and technology markets. Our platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in breakthrough initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation and IoT.

Our customers include leading public cloud and silicon providers, and industry leaders in many sectors.

A new leadership role has been created, Partner Marketing Director, to drive our Go-To-Market strategy across the partner ecosystem.

We play a unique role in innovative value chains supporting our partners technically and commercially.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a marketing strategy that drives pipeline growth and revenue outcomes through key partners – Silicon, IHV, ODM, Channel, GSIs, etc.
  • Align with growth, field and product marketing to deliver integrated activities with Canonical's campaigns.
  • Execute partner campaigns across the funnel from recruitment to demand generation programs.
  • Engage and elevate the partner community through exceptional content in partnership with communication, product and alliances teams.
  • Multiply partners' impact through programmatic approaches.
  • Craft bespoke plans and joint value propositions to stand out in the marketplace.
  • Champion partner collaboration vision internally and externally.
  • Manage Marketing Development Funds (MDF).
  • Drive adoption of analytics and reporting tools to improve ROI of partner marketing activities.
  • Mentor a diverse team of partner marketers covering whole spectrum of partners.
