We are seeking a skilled Compliance Analyst to join our team.
About the RoleThe Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that business operations align with regulatory requirements and risk management policies. The role involves participating in the business divisional risk assessment and reporting process, identifying and escalating residual risks that exceed risk appetite.
- Deliver independent risk assessments and reports, providing actionable insights to business divisional management.
- Provide business divisional management with controls, tools, training, frameworks, information, and insights required to perform their risk management and supervisory responsibilities.
- Prepare and deliver proposals for the control, mitigation, and remediation of compliance and operational risk issues arising out of business operations.
- Develop concise, objective, and accurate reports that provide insight into the business division's risk profile and include interdisciplinary, holistic, and systemic root cause analysis.
- Experience in the financial services industry, focusing on compliance, regulatory matters, audit, risk management, or governance processes.
- Good understanding of Brazilian compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and appropriate controls.
- Ability to influence business partners on key compliance risks and actions required to mitigate risk.
- Structured, analytical, holistic, and thorough approach, with the ability to form defensible conclusions from risk assessments.
- Bachelor's degree.
