Cloud Network Specialist

We drive innovation by delivering top-notch results to our clients. As a member of our SAP Enterprise Cloud Services team, you will contribute to SAP's global strategy by supporting clients with their cloud adoption on their path to digital transformation.


The Role
  • You will be responsible for technical and architectural discussions with clients, including solution roadmap development.
  • You must understand integration approaches with various cloud solutions, business continuity (HA/DR) architecture, underlying network, storage topology on various hyperscaler platforms.
  • You will own, lead, and coordinate network services-related operational tasks, mitigate network-related escalations, and contribute to network services process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support cloud operational activities of technical system landscapes on Hyperscalers.
  • Identify current Network service-related issues, define action plans, and drive resolution with the help of various Network service providers.
  • Bring expertise and provide high-quality, stable network deliverables and operations across client E2E lifecycle.
  • Understand high availability solutions or disaster recovery architecture, network, and virtual technologies on hyperscalers.

Requirements
  • Excellent network administration experience or support experience on any hyperscaler platform.
  • Good knowledge of various architecture approaches for deployment on hyperscalers and hands-on experience in handling at least one migration end-to-end from on-premises to hyperscaler, including network onboarding activities.
  • Solid knowledge and demonstrable experience in customer network infrastructure-related services, having a clear overview and understanding of all network services matrix which relates to people, process, and tools.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Collaborative, passionate about network technology, with an ability to connect the dots between clients and all types of network service providers, including architecture teams.
  • Ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team (remote).
  • Ability to continuously acquire new knowledge and latest technologies in an independent and proactive way.
