About the Role

Ubiminds is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient backend systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with our development team to design and implement backend systems that meet the needs of our clients.
  2. Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code that adheres to industry standards.
  3. Work closely with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and scaling of our backend systems.
  4. Contribute to the development of new features and applications, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.
Requirements
  1. Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Hands-on experience in Python (Dash, Dask, Flask) or PHP (Laravel) development: designing, developing, and deploying either data structures or web applications.
  3. Experience with SQL Server, and NoSQL (MongoDB preferred).
  4. Experience working with CI/CD environments (GitLab preferred) and working with cloud providers (AWS).
  5. Experience working under agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
Preferred Skills
  1. Familiarity with Data Modeling, Snowflake, and Airflow.
  2. Experience maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
