Legacy Systems Specialist Wanted

We are seeking a skilled COBOL developer to work on a global project that involves legacy systems, AS/400 technologies, and languages such as COBOL, RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/400.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with:

  • Developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications written in COBOL on IBM iSeries (AS/400)
  • Working with RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/400 to support business-critical applications
  • Designing and maintaining display files (DSPF) and reporting files (PRTF) for user interfaces and printed output
  • Debugging and resolving issues in batch and interactive programs
  • Participating in the design and implementation of system integrations with third-party or internal applications

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in COBOL development on IBM i / AS/400 and DB2/400 and SQL
  • Strong hands-on experience in RPGLE, CLLE, and SQLRPGLE
  • Experience in creating and maintaining display files (DSPF) and printer files (PRTF)
