Key Role: Senior Expeditor

We are seeking an experienced expeditor to join our team in Brazil.

  • The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment to support project or production schedules.
  • They will coordinate closely with suppliers, procurement, logistics, and project teams to track progress, resolve delays, ensure compliance with delivery requirements and quality standards.
  • A proactive approach will be required to avoid disruptions and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Maintaining a close eye on critical items to prevent bottlenecks is essential.
  • Detailed status reports for stakeholders will need to be prepared regularly.
  • Risks need to be escalated when necessary to maintain project timelines.
About the Ideal Candidate
  • Over 10 years of experience in expediting, logistics, or supply chain management preferably in industrial sectors like mining, steel, oil & gas, EPC, or manufacturing.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of incoterms is beneficial.
  • Experience with national and international logistics and vendor follow-up is expected.
  • Strong coordination, negotiation, and issue-resolution skills are needed to manage supplier performance and critical delivery timelines.
  • Being organized and proactive is key.
  • Good oral fluency is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint preparation, is necessary.
