Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:- Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery terms.
- Purchasing Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that drive cost savings and quality improvements.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory teams to ensure optimal stock levels and timely replenishment of products.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, engineering teams to align procurement with product development strategies.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Champion sustainable sourcing practices and collaborate with suppliers to promote environmentally friendly materials and processes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement within the fashion retail industry.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with contract management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of developing successful procurement strategies.
- Knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
