**Job Summary**

Osm Thome is seeking a highly skilled Utility Operator Offshore Specialist to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our offshore operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our utility systems and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, control, and monitor the machinery space and mechanical equipment, utility systems (including steam and power generation plant) and utility control rooms, focusing on safety, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Support pigging operations and assist in the required meetings related to the utility systems operation/maintenance.
  • Identify and report deviations from standard/design operating conditions and initiate corrective actions.
  • Identify and report utility systems and mechanical equipment malfunctions and maintenance requirements.
  • Prepare required reports, keep logs, and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Execute utility systems and mechanical equipment first-line, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities as per SAP system requirements.
  • Perform sampling and analysis in accordance with requirements.
  • Perform bunkering operations and liaise with other departments for coordination of activities.
  • Assist on preventive and corrective maintenance performed by other disciplines in the utility systems area.
  • Control the stock of consumables related to utility systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience in offshore utility operations/maintenance activities.
  • Boiler expertise will be considered a differential.
  • Good verbal and written Portuguese language skills and good command of English.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (SAP will be a differential).
  • High ethical standards.
  • Performance-oriented mind-set and a solid team player.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels in the offshore organization.
