Leading Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping our data infrastructure. This individual will design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines using cutting-edge technologies.
Key responsibilities include developing robust data models across multiple layers to support analytics and reporting. Ensuring data quality, governance, and reproducibility across the data warehouse/lake will be critical. Establishing best practices for data engineering and analytics is also essential.
To excel in this role, you will need a strong background in computer science, data science or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in data architecture or related roles. Strong SQL expertise with experience tuning queries and designing efficient schemas is necessary. Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks is also required.
Familiarity with cloud services, especially AWS Athena, S3 and Glue, is necessary. Experience building analytics dashboards with Metabase or similar BI tools is required. Understanding of data pipelines and workflow optimization is also necessary.
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science or a related field is required. Additionally, a strong understanding of data governance, data quality and data security principles is necessary.
