Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and passionate Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with fellow data engineers to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using modern technologies.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines that integrate diverse data sources into a unified data environment for both internal and external use.
  • Debug, unit test, and deploy data pipelines while optimizing their performance.
  • Manage metadata associated with data and processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Document and version code to maintain transparency and scalability.
  • Promote data engineering best practices and contribute to organizational governance frameworks.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-quality engineering solutions that meet evolving business needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in test development, automation, and release processes.
  • Advocate for user-centric design and functionality when collaborating with product, design, and technical teams.
Requirements:
  • Experience in data engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in modern data storage systems, such as distributed data lakes.
  • Expertise in developing data pipelines using PySpark, Scala, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience working with big data platforms, such as Databricks.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational/transactional databases and SQL.
  • Strong skills in performance tuning for PySpark and SQL workflows.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
