Environmental Resource Specialist

We are seeking an Environmental Resource Specialist to join our team at Dudek LLC. This role is responsible for ensuring that all environmental and cultural resources are properly identified, documented, and protected during construction projects.

• Identification of cultural and environmental resources during construction projects
• Effective communication with construction personnel, lead monitors, and principal investigators to ensure punctuality, safety, and resource protection
• Production of digital daily log forms detailing construction activities, communication, and future plans
• Collaboration with Tribal partners to verify understanding of instructions or site-specific information
• Documentation of buried resources and artifacts while working in a team

• Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field; or equivalent experience
• Ability to operate a 4wd vehicle safely
• Valid driver's license and active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment
• Willingness to travel to project locations for several consecutive days
• Understanding and willingness to accommodate difficult weather conditions
• Previous experience as a cultural resource monitor or similar role

• Completed accredited field school certification
• Previous archaeological survey experience in California, Nevada, the Great Basin, and/or the Desert West
• Knowledge of ESRI Collector, Field Maps, and Survey 123 software

$18 - $34 hourly*

*Final agreed-upon compensation will be based on individual experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.

Lodging and per-diem will be provided at the GSA rate for qualified applicants.
