**Job Title:** Senior Payroll Associate

**Job Description:

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for processing complex payroll activities, including benefits and retirement deductions, tax reporting, and compliance duties for a group of smaller countries in Latin America.

Key responsibilities include training and supporting new payroll specialists, resolving escalated payroll discrepancies, responding to employee payroll inquiries, collaborating with the payroll team leader on process improvement initiatives, participating in internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations, working closely with HR and Finance to ensure seamless integration of payroll systems, assisting with payroll system implementation and improvements, and contributing to the development and implementation of payroll procedures and policies.

 

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are seeking an individual with knowledge of Brazilian payroll processes, self-sufficiency in handling payroll processes, experience with payroll processing high volumes of employees, competency in conducting simple paper audits with tax knowledge, and advanced level proficiency in Excel.
