Securities Operations Analyst

This is an intermediate level position focused on providing support to various securities related functions in coordination with the Transaction Capture team. The overall goal of this role is to facilitate traders, maintain accurate records, and optimize process efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office desks.
  • Register derivatives and investments on front-end systems.
  • Support trade capture management, Front to Back reconciliation, identify operational risks, trade confirmation, and settlement forecasts.
  • Verify if all trades have been properly affirmed by clients, escalating when necessary.
  • Provide reports from Front Office to Middle Office's team to ensure that Middle Office's end-of-day activities are properly performed.
  • Maintain client demands for positions, balances etc., working alongside Client services departments and other areas when needed.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies to make recommendations to senior management for process improvement.
  • Design and analyze reports to support/control activities and make recommendations based on identified trends and facts.
  • Interpret data and recommend the launch of new products/services or upgraded platforms supporting pre-settlement processes and transaction capture functions.
  • Minimize operational risks and maximize efficiency.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
