Container Terminal Operator Position

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Container Terminal Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in terminal operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

As a Container Terminal Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of containers through the terminal, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a safe and healthy working environment.

• Loading and unloading containers from vessels and trucks
• Cleaning the operating areas regularly
• Performing lashing and unlashing operations in accordance with standard procedures
• Carrying out signalman responsibilities during loading operations
• Removing and securing container twist locks in accordance with safety regulations
• Inspecting container seals at gates as required
• Performing mooring activities on berths
• Securing transportation before loading or offloading operations
• Informing supervisors of any damage or issues

• Similar working experience is a must
• Georgian language proficiency is essential
• Good knowledge of vessel and port operations
