Risk Management Specialist

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled Operational Risk Controller to join our team. This role serves as the liaison between our risk management department and the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Provide oversight and challenge to risk-taking activities and influence actions required to mitigate associated risks.
- Evaluate the non-financial risk profile and risk analysis of the business.
- Evaluate new products and initiatives from an operational risk perspective.
- Provide consultation and risk framework expertise to the business.
- Work across multiple dimensions of non-financial risk programs and understand how they impact the business and mitigation required.
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in a relevant area of study is required.
- 1+ years of prior operational risk, audit, or controls experience is necessary, ideally with a financial institution or regulatory agency.
- Some experience with financial services regulations and products, particularly within Brazil, Mexico, or other LatAm countries.
- Judgement and integrative thinking skills, risk management and risk assessment knowledge.
- Structured, rigorous, analytical, and thorough approach with ability to form defensible conclusions from risk assessments.
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills, able to calmly manage conflict and pressure in a demanding environment.
