Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Category Buyer to join our organization. As a Category Buyer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing regional sourcing strategies for the Construction Industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage category strategy, including policies, agreements, source catalogs, and special procurement programs.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including qualified supply network development, business continuity, supplier risk management, capacity and financial contract management, and supplier commercial negotiations.
  • Manage cost/spend management, TCA assurance, supplier onboarding/offboarding, lead/response time optimization, and resource management decisions.
  • Collaborate with Supplier Development Engineers to ensure continuous improvement in Quality Control, Loss, Damage, and Minimization (QCLDM) with key suppliers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Engineering.
  • 4 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, manufacturing, and/or engineering.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project leadership skills.
  • Effective communication skills in written and oral form.
  • Fluent English language skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of Lognet, NPE, ProCure, etc.
  • Strong negotiation skills, able to interpret, analyze, and negotiate contractual cost elements.
