PTW is seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Artist to join our Unity team. As a Technical Artist, you will work closely with senior artists, engineers, and designers to develop and implement technical solutions that enhance the visual quality and performance of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and optimize shaders, materials, and visual effects to meet performance and quality standards.
- Support the creation and integration of 3D assets, ensuring they meet technical and artistic requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation and best practices for the art team.
- Design and maintain efficient art pipelines and workflows.
- Develop custom tools and scripts to streamline the production process.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate new technologies and tools into the production pipeline.
- Work closely with artists and designers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the art team.
- Liaise between the art and engineering teams to ensure smooth communication and project development.
- Bachelor's degree in Game Design or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical art or a related field.
- Familiarity with Unity Engine and its features.
- Basic proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#) and shader development.
- Good understanding of 3D art principles, including modeling, texturing, and animation.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques for real-time applications.
