Legal Holds and Discovery Strategy

As a specialist in legal discovery strategy, you will support the firm's litigation department by facilitating the identification, preservation, collection, review, and production of relevant information. This includes managing inquiries and requests related to electronically stored information (ESI).

Responsibilities
  • Action and track inquiries and requests for ESI identification, preservation, and collection.
  • Act as an internal subject matter expert on JPMC's discovery processes, focusing on legal holds, information governance, custodian interview questionnaires, data disposition, and matter closures.
  • Liaise with litigators, outside counsel, technology partners, and lines of business to advise on discovery obligations, manage deliverables, and ensure compliance with firm policies and best practices.
  • Lead and support initiatives related to audit readiness and legal technology implementation; identify opportunities to improve LDM processes and document improvements.
  • Develop reports on matters and programs, and provide updates to management on an ad-hoc and periodic basis.
