Cloud Engineering Manager Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for delivering cloud-based solutions. The Cloud Engineering Manager will oversee the development and operations of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of engineers to optimize the quality and velocity of development and operations
  • Identify and measure key performance indicators for team health and productivity
  • Implement disciplined engineering and operations processes to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Represent the team with stakeholders, customers, and external partners
  • Ensure proper focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables
  • Work closely with customers to meet service level agreements worldwide
  • Deliver high-quality managed services in a timely and consistent manner
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology field
  • Proven experience in software delivery using Python, Go, C, C++, Java, or similar, as well as managing operations teams
  • Strong expertise in OpenStack and Linux system administration
  • Demonstrated commitment to testing methodologies and maintainable code quality
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and distributed teams
  • Technical aptitude for understanding complex distributed systems and cloud topologies
  • Ability to travel for team and company events, approximately 20% or less
