Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Team in Redbridge.

You will be responsible for carrying out detailed assessments and delivering tailored treatment plans for patients in the community. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will apply your excellent knowledge of current stroke rehabilitation guidelines to support people with complex functional needs.

• Provide evidence-based assessment, intervention, and treatment for individuals following a stroke.
• Work collaboratively within the MDT to set and achieve patient-centred rehabilitation goals.
• Order and recommend appropriate equipment to optimise independence and quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and professionals to ensure continuity of care.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Experience of community-based rehabilitation within the NHS.
• Competence in managing a caseload of stroke patients, with a strong understanding of stroke guidelines and best practice.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
