Software Developer Position

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and testing high-quality software applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining software applications using core technologies such as Java 8, Spring, Hibernate, and Apache Tomcat.
  • Designing and implementing Automated Unit Tests using flexible and open-source frameworks.
  • Working with SMEs to design new modules/functionality and mapping business processes to solutions.
  • Collaborating with a local and global team of developers, operational business SMEs, and users to deliver high-throughput, mission-critical platforms with low error rates.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering.
  2. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent Core Java knowledge with experience in Java 1.8 features.
  • Java Frameworks experience, including Spring, Hibernate, and Spring Boot.
  • RESTful microservices expertise.
  • Multithreaded programming and transaction handling skills (JMS, Database).
  • Familiarity with Google Protocol buffers or similar binary message transport.
  • HTML 4 and 5 with JavaScript expertise.
  • Web-based User Interface development experience.
  • Relational database software development experience (Oracle).
  • Application Servers experience.
  • Fluent English language skills.
