We're seeking a seasoned data architect to lead the development of our modern cloud-based platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement data platforms using Microsoft Fabric (Synapse, OneLake).
- Create scalable pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
- Optimize data performance using Delta/Parquet, partitioning, and Spark.
- Develop data models into easy-to-use structures (star schema, dimensional modeling).
- Maintain governance and security with Purview, RBAC, ACLs, and related frameworks.
- Automate deployments with CI/CD for data pipelines.
- 15+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture at Principal-level.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft technologies: Fabric, Synapse, OneLake (1+ year).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure Data Factory (2+ years)
- Delta/Parquet optimization, Spark (5+ years)
- Dimensional modeling/star schema (5+ years)
- Data governance/security (3+ years)
- CI/CD pipelines for data (2+ years)
