Physics Researcher Opportunity

We are seeking skilled Physics researchers to rigorously evaluate the performance of large language models (LLMs). In this role, you will create and analyze physics problems to help improve AI's conceptual understanding and structured problem-solving capabilities.

This is a remote, contract-based position with flexible weekly hour options. You will design and evaluate challenging physics problems to test AI reasoning, analyze AI-generated solutions for logic and clarity, and provide detailed feedback that highlights gaps in reasoning.

  • Design and evaluate challenging physics problems to test AI reasoning.
  • Analyze AI-generated solutions for logic and step-by-step clarity.
  • Provide detailed, constructive feedback on logical gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of benchmarks that measure model performance on abstract tasks.
Required Qualifications
  • PhD or Postdoctoral experience in Physics, Applied Physics, or related fields.
  • Ability to solve complex problems with structured reasoning.
  • Effective communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Independent work ethic and self-motivation in a remote setting.
