Our team is seeking a skilled software engineer to contribute to the development of our cutting-edge flight control system.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional with expertise in embedded systems and software design.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on safety-critical projects and be familiar with industry standards such as DO-178C. They will also possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software components for our fault-tolerant flight control system. You will work closely with system engineers to decompose requirements into high-level and low-level software requirements and develop software plans, processes, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop safety-critical software components for our flight control system
  • Collaborate with system engineers to define software requirements and develop software plans
  • Design and develop software to optimize performance, risk, safety, operation, and cost
  • Conduct software analyses, requirements-based testing, and structural coverage analysis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree
  • Proficiency with C/C++ programming languages
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and scripting languages like bash and Python
  • Familiarity with communication standards and protocols (RS-422/485, CAN, ARINC-429, AFDX, Ethernet, TCP/IP)
  • Experience developing software complying with safety standards like DO-178C to high criticality levels (DAL-A/B)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with VHDL and/or Verilog development
  • Familiarity with modeling tools like UML or SysML
  • Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and multi-threading
