Job Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Automation Tester with expertise in Java, Selenium, and JavaScript to join our innovative QA team at Telit Cinterion. The successful candidate will be tasked with designing, developing, and executing automated testing procedures to guarantee the quality and dependability of our software solutions. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and fellow QA team members to identify and rectify issues, ensuring our products adhere to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation Development: Create, develop, and sustain automated test scripts utilizing Java, Selenium WebDriver, and JavaScript for web applications.
  • API Testing: Formulate, develop, and implement test cases for RESTful and SOAP APIs to verify functionality, performance, reliability, and security.
  • Test Planning: Work alongside cross-functional teams to establish test strategies, formulate test plans, and create test cases for both new and existing APIs.
  • Execution & Reporting: Execute automated test scripts, evaluate results, and document defects. Ensure that issues are monitored, reported, and resolved promptly.
  • Continuous Integration: Incorporate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate ongoing testing and quality assurance.
  • Code Review: Engage in code reviews to ensure that test automation code is of high quality, efficient, and complies with best practices.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain thorough documentation for automated test cases, results, and testing methodologies.
  • Collaboration: Partner with developers, QA analysts, and other stakeholders to determine test requirements and guarantee comprehensive test coverage.
  • Performance Testing: Support performance and load testing initiatives by creating and executing relevant automated test scripts.
  • Tool Assessment: Assess and recommend new testing tools and technologies to enhance the testing process.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in software testing, focusing on test automation with Java and Selenium.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Java programming.
    • Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
    • Solid understanding of JavaScript for scripting and testing purposes.
    • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
    • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.
    • Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
    • Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, REST, JSON).
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Soft Skills:
