About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled MS SQL Database Administrator to join our team at Decision Group. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our database infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and maintain high-performance database architectures using MS SQL.
  2. Configure and support Always On availability groups, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
  3. Create and manage standby databases to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  4. Perform regular upgrade and patching activities to ensure database security and stability.
  5. Develop and implement crisis management plans to quickly respond to and resolve database-related issues.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate and coordinate database-related activities.
  7. Implement database encryption to protect sensitive data.
  8. Monitor and manage log and data volumes to optimize database performance.
  9. Use standard DB reports to identify performance bottlenecks and implement tuning recommendations.

Requirements:
