Procurement Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled procurement specialist to negotiate with suppliers, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes as needed.

This role involves performing advanced purchasing activities, including IS analysis, project support, and price reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities include working on direct material and NPM activities when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Negotiate with suppliers to meet project requirements.
  2. Search and implement improvements on existing supplier lists.
  3. Attend internal/external meetings accordingly and follow procedures.
  4. Perform advanced purchasing roles for new potential business, including IS analysis and project support.
  5. Work on price reduction opportunities and projects.
  6. Perform activities related to direct material and NPM when needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduation in Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: Approximately 4-6 years in purchasing processes.
  • Specific knowledge: Experience in automotive purchasing, including components, materials, and processes knowledge, is important.
