Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient backend systems that meet the needs of our growing user base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Backend Architecture: Design and implement robust backend architecture strategies that align with the company's long-term goals.
  • Code Review and Approval: Review and approve code before merging into main branches, ensuring high standards of code quality.
  • Deployment and Release Management: Execute backend deployments and ensure smooth integration across systems.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Problem-Solving: Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role within the iGaming or Gambling industry.
  • Skills: Strong expertise in backend architecture, release management, and performance optimization. Experience with GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Jest is preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a focus on team collaboration and problem-solving.
