Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing system specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies and test plans, and executing test cases (manual or automated) and analyzing results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze system specifications to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies and test plans that meet business requirements.
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Document testing phases and defects using logs to track progress and facilitate communication.
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams in a clear and concise manner to ensure timely resolution.
  • Help troubleshoot issues by working collaboratively with development teams to resolve complex problems.
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

To complete testing in line with agreed timeframes and by following documented business processes using appropriate test management and automation tools.

Requirements:
  • Primary Skills:
    • Strong experience in P&C or L&A domain (at least 2 years Mandatory)
    • Proven experience as a QA tester
    • Experience in QA methodology
    • Familiarity with Agile frameworks & regression testing a plus
  • Secondary Skills:
    • Regression testing
    • Working knowledge of test management software

Excellent communication (verbal & written) skills, attention to detail, analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude, strong organizational skills, and proven ability to work under pressure are essential for this role.
