**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grid Code Test Engineer to join our team at Nordex Group. As a key member of our Windfarm Control Operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our wind farm projects with grid code regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and evaluate grid code compliance tests, analyze test data, and document results.
  • Support grid code compliance and grid connection activities during sales and project phases.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Nordex products and their capabilities to assess grid code compliance.
  • Optimize grid code compliance processes and review internal product specifications for compliance.
  • Collaborate with clients' experts to develop project-specific testing and solutions.
  • Gain experience in wind farm controller projects.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent technical education.
  • Experience in grid code testing with wind farm projects and test cases in grid code testing procedures.
  • Good knowledge of grid code compliance on power plant level and software details to achieve compliance.
  • Experience with data analysis, tools, and automation is valuable.
  • Intercultural understanding and ability to work collaboratively with teams across functions and geographies.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written; Spanish and/or German is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong planning and organizational skills, proactive, assertive, and a team player.
  • Certificate to act as electrically skilled person (German: Elektrofachkraft) is helpful.
  • Willingness to go on business trips (5-10%).
