Financial Operations Lead

We're looking for a seasoned professional to lead our financial operations team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in risk management and credit analysis, with a proven track record of success in similar roles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire credit lifecycle, from initial application to ongoing monitoring and maintenance. This includes ensuring that all prospects meet our legal and risk-related requirements, as well as overseeing the approval of all credit lines.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. The candidate should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the financial operations team and managing daily activities
  • Reviewing and approving all authorized credit lines
  • Overseeing KYC, KYB, AML checks, and credit origination
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, cashflow, and risk assessment standards
  • Maintaining, reporting, and monitoring credit lines
  • Driving automation and simplification of onboarding processes
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in risk management or middle office roles
  • 2+ years as a Credit Manager, preferably in fintechs in LATAM
  • Proven expertise in corporate credit analysis and understanding of credit scores in the Brazilian market
  • Professional proficiency in English (B2+) and Portuguese
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong attention to detail with a data-driven, results-oriented mindset
