This role presents a unique chance for an accomplished educator to oversee the school's pastoral programme, fostering a supportive environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directing and guiding Heads of Year and Heads of House in their roles
  • Overseeing student welfare and ensuring a safe and respectful school culture
  • Acting as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to safeguard student well-being
  • Maintaining the established house system to promote unity and inclusivity among students
  • Conducting admissions interviews and assessments for prospective students to ensure suitability
  • Coordinating the school's PSHE provision to develop students' social, emotional, and moral skills
Requirements:
  • A collaborative leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality pastoral care that promotes student success and happiness
  • Experience as a pastoral middle leader or existing Assistant/Deputy Head seeking a new challenge with opportunities for growth and professional development
