Senior R&D Subsea Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting the company's technological ambitions. This position requires expertise in subsea technologies, flow assurance, and correlated technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the lead deep offshore engineer in their mission to advance subsea technologies.
  • Participate in collaboration and technology transfer with oil and gas companies.
  • Contribute to technical committees related to deep-water segment collaborations.
  • Ensure active follow-up of HQ involvement in joint industry projects (JIPs) funded by the company.

The employee shall perform activities in compliance with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management System, aligned with One Maestro Principles, oriented to safeguard people's integrity, preserve the environment, and resources while improving energy efficiency and decarbonization.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop innovative solutions and enhance TotalEnergies' scientific expertise in line with R&D project objectives and transfer to business lines.
  • Maintain minimum 5 years' experience in technology and operations in R&D E&P and/or projects in subsea techno flow assurance themes.
  • Develop excellent technical analysis, interpersonal, oral, written communication, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Portuguese language is mandatory, fluency in English language is essential, and preferably some knowledge in French.
