Building a Data Platform that Drives Business Growth
Job OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to create and maintain our data platform, designing high-quality production ELT pipelines and data architectures. This role involves crafting effective solutions with stakeholders and delivering innovative data products to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborative Solution Development: Engage with stakeholders to develop strategic solutions.
- State-of-the-Art Pipelines and Architecture: Design, develop, deploy and operate high-quality production ELT pipelines and data architectures.
- Champion Data Best Practices: Establish and advocate for best practices in performance, code quality, data validation, data governance, and discoverability.
- High Quality Data and Code: Ensure data is accurate, complete, reliable, relevant, and timely.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data pipelines and systems.
- +8 years of experience building robust, scalable data environments.
- Proficient in programming languages and tooling such as Python, PySpark, SQL, Airflow, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL, Git.
- Good understanding of Software Engineering practices and Data Engineering principles.
- Ability to communicate complex outcomes with clarity over a wide range of audiences.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Understanding of the payments industry and Brazilian market specificities.
- Experience in Reporting & Reconciliation domain, supporting customers and providing them needed information for accounting processes.
